Aries celebrates 100 years of Umbro

To mark Umbro’s centenary, the British sports brand teams up once more with luxury streetwear partner Aries for a third instalment of their much-celebrated collaboration. Inspired by Umbro’s rich football archive and their historic relationship with the English game, Aries x Umbro will release an exclusive celebratory “red, white, and blue” 8-SKU collection of Aries sportswear, just in time for the Euros 2024 kick-off.

The collaboration capsule includes two classic short sleeve football jerseys, a long sleeve goalkeeper jersey, football shorts and kit accessories plus a limited-edition navy-blue lace football jersey, exclusive to Aries with a run of only 100 “centenary” shirts.



Across the football jerseys the Aries archive “Aries A-Rose” graphic has been resurrected and repeated throughout as a subtle all-over rose print backdrop – an ode to the “English Rose”. The traditional jersey’s come in both red and white with the renowned “Aries Temple” logo adorned to the left of the chest and Umbro’s “Double Diamond” logo to the right.

The Goalkeeper jersey is a tonal black print of mythical Lion’s, representative of England’s history with the legendary creature, and Aries notorious mythological references hidden within the all-over print including the Latin motto; “If you kill it, it will come back stronger”. 

The original “Centenary” graphic emblazoned on the back of all jerseys is the number “100”. This graphic has been created combining the Aries x Umbro iconic collaborative font seen in previous collaborations, and Umbro’s “double diamond” logo amalgamating all.
