Umbro raise their Pro Training game

For Spring/Summer 2023, Umbro partners with the Mechanical Engineering Group Versarien PLC to introduce Graphene-Wear™ to several pieces within Pro Training Elite capsule. Graphene-Wear™ is a Graphene ink applied to the inside of garments, providing athletes with performance benefits such as thermoregulation, moisture wicking and improved air permeability. 

The Pro Training collection features fresh activewear hybrids in head-to-toe tonal colours with tech prints. The Elite capsule addresses the needs of those who train hard and consists of streamlined styles using performance fabrics such as lightweight stretch woven materials for freedom of movement, soft fabrics with a high ration of elastane for excellent fit, mesh panels for added ventilation or durable water repellent coatings for protection from the elements. Recycled polyester fabrics are used across the collection. Reflective branding, concealed pockets, and thumb holes round of the sleek appearance of the garments. 

The standout pieces are the Elite Baselayer, Elite Running Tights and Elite Long Sleeve Running Top, all of which feature Graphene-Wear™. 

The wider collection offers a selection of considered and trialled styles, delivering against all training conditions as well as everyday needs. On trend colours give and eye-catching graphics give the styles a modern aesthetic. The key pieces include the Pro Training Graphic Jersey, Woven Short, Marl Poly Tee, Poly Pant, FZ Hoodie, Legging and Woven pant.  

Pro Training Active consists of styles with a relaxed silhouette in core sports colours and strong branding.  

A Pro Training Women’s collection offers comfort driven styles with a bespoke women’s fit, floral prints and a tonal palette. Key pieces include the Pro Training Printed Poly Tee, Printed Hybrid Shorts, Printed Woven Jacket, 7/8 Leggings, Sports Bra, and Cropped L/S Top.
