RED ROSES OCTOBER 2023 COMPETITION

UMBRO TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR UMBRO PRIZE DRAW IN UNITED KINGDOM

1.      These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

 

2.     The Promoter is: GL Dameck Limited with its registered office at Yard Road, Blairgowrie, Perthshire, PH10 6NW. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend any of these Terms and Conditions.

 

3.     This Competition is only open to residents in the UK (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) aged 18 or over, except:

 

a.      employees of the Promoter or England Rugby or any of their holding or subsidiary companies;

b.     employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or England Rugby or any of their holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or,

c.      members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

 

4.     Entry is made by inputting your name and email address on umbro.co.uk/competitions/red-roses-october-2023.

 

5.     The opening date for entries is 00.01 BST on 17/10/2023 and the entry closing date is at 23.59 GMT on 04/11/2023. By entering the Competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete.

 

6.     The Competition is limited to one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize.

 

7.      No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted.

 

8.     By participating in this Competition, you agree to release, discharge and hold us harmless from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from your participation in this Competition (save that nothing shall limit our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

 

9.     Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

 

10.    There will be five individual prize winners.

 

11.     There are five prizes to be won – 5 x Red Roses 23/24 shirts signed by the England Women’s Squad.

 

12.    Prize Specifics:

a.      Allocation of all prizes will be at the sole discretion of the Promotor.

b.     The prize includes the above only.

c.      The prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Under no circumstances can this prize be transferred to a third party or sold for any financial amount.

d.     The prize is non-exchangeable, non-refundable and no cash alternative is available.

e.      All Competition prizes are subject to availability.

 

13.    All entries received on or before the closing date will be allocated a number and entered into a random number generator. The first five numbers generated at random will win the Prize.

 

14.    All taxes, insurances, transfers, spending money and other expenses, unless specifically stated, are the sole responsibility of the prize-winner. By participating in the Competition, participants agree that the prize is awarded on an "as is" basis, and that neither the Promoter nor any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies, make any representations or warranties of any nature with respect to the prize.

 

15.    In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize. No correspondence will be entered into.

 

16.    Notifying winners and how to claim your prize:

 

The winners will be notified no later than 17:00 GMT on the 17th of November 2023 using the email address inputted at entry. The winner will have a maximum of 48 hours to accept the prize by response to the winning notification email. The 48-hour period will begin from the email electronic time stamp.

 

If the prize is not claimed within the relevant time period as set out above, it will become invalid. The Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the Competition rules. A new winner will be chosen (who will have 48 hours to accept).

 

17.    Prize fulfilment – after written acceptance and provision of full mailing address and delivery contact details required by the Promoter to fulfil the prize, five individual winners will receive a Red Roses 23/24 shirt signed by the England Women’s Team, along with a certificate of authenticity, via postal mail no later than 30th of November 2023.

 

18.    The winner’s details (name and county) may be made available on request to those writing to the Promoter (29 Dale Street, Manchester, M1 1EY) within ten weeks after the closing date, enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope.

 

19.    The Promoter reserves the right to use the names and general location of winners, their photograph and any recordings of them (be it audio or visual) in any publicity or promotion and the Promoter has the right to use such photos, videos or films in any medium and in any reasonable manner for any purpose as it may see fit. This includes England Rugby, Umbro, Umbro UK and Umbro Rugby channels.

 

If agreed to the above, the winner(s) may be filmed/ photographed/ interviewed by the Promoter. The winner(s) grant(s) us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute and make derivative works of such footage/photographs / testimonials in any media and through any media channel.
 

21.    Entrants agree to keep confidential any information of whatsoever nature regarding the Promoter and their respective businesses, personnel, agents, sponsors and event promoters received by entrants as a result of winning or participating in the Competition.

 

By entering the Competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this Competition and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. The personal data will be processed in accordance with the Data Controller’s Privacy Policy, which is available at https://www.umbro.co.uk/customer-care/privacy. All entry instructions form part of the rules.

We reserve the right to verify winners and ask for proof of identity, age and address, and to withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions.
 

These terms and conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.
