I was a soccer player all my life, I almost always wore Umbro shorts when I played. I'm 51 now and a few years ago I found a pair of Umbro shorts that fit me perfect. They are an XL, they are still my favorite shorts! I wear shorts all the time and couldn't find any Umbro shorts around so I decided to order them directly from England. I live in the USA. I have a 40 inch waist and from what I read a XL would be the size I would be the size I needed. Well when I got them the were cut very small and did not fit. I really need a XXL but Umbro makes very few if any and if they do they are not in stock. So I was stuck with the shorts that didn't fit or mail them back to England for half the price I paid. Lesson learned, Don't buy stuff from other countries....
